Lisa joined our firm in 2020, working in the funding department. Her professional background includes working in the financial industry in New York City and the surrounding area for 11 years, where her experience ranged from back-office clerk to Director of Portfolio and Electronic Trading at a prominent broker-dealer. Since moving to Reno, she has gained experience in the banking and insurance industry. She is looking forward to expanding her knowledge of estate planning and acquiring new skills.
education
Lisa attended historical James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia, where she majored in English Literature and minored in Psychology. In her second year of college, she took a semester off to backpack around Europe for two and a half months. It was the best classroom she has ever attended!
Personal
Lisa is originally from upstate New York in the beautiful Catskill Mountains, just a few miles from Woodstock. She also lived in Virginia and New Jersey before moving to Reno in 2009. And while New York will always be first in her heart, she loves Nevada’s beautiful weather and amazing scenery. Traveling is her passion! Her favorite trips include Israel in 2015, and more recently a trip to Egypt in February of 2020. She has studied the Arabic language in the past and is currently learning French, which she hopes to use during a trip to France one day. Until then, she will continue to enjoy the beauty of Nevada and Lake Tahoe.
