Attorneys Jerry Dorn, Bryce Rader, Luke Welmerink, and Aaron Squires attended an exclusive legal education conference in San Diego, CA from October 18 through October 23. The American Academy of Estate Planning Attorneys hosted their 24th annual Fall Summit which included over 100 estate planning law firms from around the country that met specific qualifications for membership with the American Academy.
The American Academy is dedicated to helping its Member attorneys revolutionize the way they practice law. The conference focuses on enhancing relationships within their communities, cutting-edge legal education, practice management and leadership training. “We place a high value on our members creating lasting relationships with their clients. This event we focused on deepening these relationships with sessions on communication and law firm systems that help clients leave a lasting legacy,” said Sanford M. The conference opened with an inspiring keynote address, Many Communicate. Few Connect, from speaker Colette Carlson, human behavior expert and founder of Speak Your Truth, Inc. All attorneys also received legal training on state-of-the-art legal strategies and updates in estate planning during sessions such as: Unwinding Estate Plans Due to Changed Circumstances, The Undiscovered Need: Helping Clients Reduce Risk and Transfer Wealth with Life Insurance, Handling Rental Property in a Medicaid Irrevocable Trust, Federal Tax Update, and Protecting Assets from In-Laws and Outlaws.
