Michael has 40 years of broad business experience in Trust Administration, Banking, Compliance, Resort Management/Development and Non-Profit Administration.
Education
A graduate of Lake Tahoe Elementary School and Truckee High, Michael went on to get his BA from UC Irvine and an MFA from Yale University in Non-Profit Management.
Professional
Both being an entrepreneur and providing exceptional customer service to dynamic, successful business folks is the most rewarding part of Michael’s career. However, his mother was a frugal, single-mother schoolteacher who bought Tahoe real estate in the 60’s and managed to build a comfortable nest egg just through buying appreciating assets and sound financial management. Assisting his mother manage her affairs led him into the Fiduciary Services and Estate Administration industry and has given him a deep and personal appreciation for what it takes to build and keep wealth.
Personal
Michael was raised in Olympic Valley, raised his two beautiful children in Truckee, and enjoys all the Reno/Tahoe area has to offer. In addition to the majestic natural surroundings, he is thrilled with the cultural development of the City of Reno in the many decades he has called the area home. His children are off doing great things, and he shares Wiil’s aspiration of being a grandfather.
